The Building Division supports a safe, well-built community by promoting the health, safety, and welfare of residents and visitors. We work closely with developers, contractors, and other City departments to ensure a coordinated approach to building and construction.

What We Do


We help ensure safe development throughout Bullhead City by:

  • Administering and enforcing building codes and construction standards adopted by the City.

  • Helping property owners, contractors, and developers understand how codes and ordinances apply to their projects.

  • Ensuring all individuals and businesses operating within the City meet local and state regulatory requirements.

  • Supporting residents and businesses during recovery efforts after natural disasters such as high winds, flooding, or fires.

  • Serving as the staff liaison to the Building Board of Appeals.
