Easier than ever to access City services online

City Launches AZ.gov website

The City of Bullhead City is excited to announce the official launch of its new government website, www.bullheadcityaz.gov, which replaces the longtime www.bullheadcity.com domain. The new site went live today, bringing residents a modern, mobile-friendly, and user-focused platform designed to make city services and information easier to access than ever before.

With a clean, intuitive design and mobile-first approach, the new bullheadcityaz.gov allows residents to pay bills, register for recreation programs, track city projects, explore job opportunities, and stay updated on events and news, all from their phone, tablet, or computer. City Manager Toby Cotter underscored the importance of putting mobile users first.
“We knew this site had to be built for the way people access information today,” Cotter said. “Most of our community connects through their phones, and this new site makes it faster and easier for residents to get what they need, whenever and wherever they are.”

Assistant City Manager Edigar Kajirwa, who helped lead the project, said the redesign was long overdue.
“Our old website was outdated and no longer reflected the growth, energy, and direction of our city. This was about more than just a facelift. It was about building a comprehensive, engaging platform that aligns with the best government websites in the country. By prioritizing usability, accessibility, and interactivity, we’ve created a resource that truly serves both residents and visitors. It’s a modern, simple site; built for you, the residents—bringing the City to your fingertips.”

The site was built around extensive user research, analysis and testing to ensure it met the needs of the community. A redesigned navigation structure, prominent search tools, and responsive design make information easy to find across all devices. New features include expanded community resources, improved access to city programs, and enhanced opportunities for residents to engage with their local government.
Public Information Officer Mackenzie Covert who spearheaded the buildout noted, “This platform gives departments the flexibility to keep their information current, ensuring the website remains a living, evolving tool that grows with our community.”

The launch of the new government site also paves the way for a major transformation of the original domain, www.bullheadcity.com. Starting in late October, bullheadcity.com will be reborn as a special events and lifestyle website dedicated to showcasing Bullhead City as a premier destination for recreation, tourism, and community pride. The site will highlight attractions, signature events, outdoor adventures, and sports tourism opportunities while celebrating local culture from the flavors of Bullhead City’s restaurants to the relaxation of Colorado River shores. It will invite visitors and residents alike to explore, experience, and enjoy all that the community has to offer.

“This is about more than updating technology,” added Edigar Kajirwa. “It’s about reimagining how we connect with people: residents, businesses, and visitors alike. bullheadcityaz.gov will be the home for government services and resources, while bullheadcity.com will become a vibrant window into the lifestyle, attractions, and spirit of our community. Together, these platforms represent a new chapter in how we share our story.”

The City encourages residents to visit the new government website today at www.bullheadcityaz.gov, and to watch for the launch of the new BullheadCity.com special event, tourism and lifestyle site later this fall.

The City encourages the public to report issues with the website, using the online form that can be found at https://www.bullheadcityaz.gov/leadership-government/report-an-issue/.
“If you spot a typo, run into a broken link, have trouble finding something, or notice a feature that isn’t working as expected, please use the website form to let us know,” Covert said. “Resident feedback is essential in helping us fine-tune the site and make sure it works for everyone.”
