Utilities Director Mark Clark Discusses Water Pressure Regulators (WPRs)
Maintaining proper water pressure in your home isn’t just about comfort; it protects your plumbing and helps your water system work efficiently.
In this video, Mark Clark, Utilities Director for the City of Bullhead City, explains what a Water Pressure Regulator (WPR) does, how to locate it, and what signs to watch for when it’s time for maintenance. Ryan Farnell, Utilities Construction Manager, demonstrates how to identify what a WPR looks like, how to adjust your pressure, and simple maintenance steps homeowners can safely perform if comfortable doing so.
City code requires each homeowner or property owner to maintain their own WPR to remain in compliance. If you have questions about your home’s water pressure or valve maintenance, contact the Bullhead City Utilities Department at 928-763-9400.
This video is part of an ongoing series from the Bullhead City Utilities Department highlighting key topics, projects, and information to help residents better understand their local water system.
