PACT
The P.A.C.T. (Police and Citizens Together) Academy gives residents a closer look at the Bullhead City Police Department through classroom instruction and hands-on experiences. The goal is to provide an informative, enjoyable program that builds strong partnerships between the police department and the community - helping make Bullhead City a great place to live, work, and raise families.
The P.A.C.T. Academy typically meets from 6 – 8:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month, January through August. There is no cost to apply or attend.
Participants will do a police ride-along and learn about topics such as forensics, bomb, SWAT, less lethal, taser, criminal investigations, gangs, narcotics and visit the shooting range and the 9-1-1 dispatch center.
Entrance Requirements
Participants must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have no misdemeanor arrests within one year of applying
- Have no felony arrests or convictions
- Demonstrate excellent character
How to Apply
Applications for the 2026 P.A.C.T. Academy will be accepted in November, 2025 at the Bullhead City Police Department lobby: 1255 Marina Boulevard.
Space is limited. Final approval of applicants will be made by the Chief of Police.
