Santa Sleigh
Each December, Santa and his helpers ride through Bullhead City neighborhoods on a sleigh - escorted by police patrol cars - to spread holiday cheer.
Children line up to share their Christmas wishes and receive a candy cane from Santa himself. The event is free and open to all families.
The FOP Santa Sleigh also travels to dozens of area schools with our public safety partners and other local elves.
The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #50 has brought this tradition to the community for over 20 years, delivering smiles and holiday spirit throughout the city.
Shop with a Cop
Spirit of Giving – Each December, more than 100 local children in-need experience the joy of the holiday season with public safety personnel during the annual Shop with a Cop program.
The morning begins with breakfast at the Elks Lodge, followed by a parade of patrol cars - with lights and sirens - escorting the children to Walmart. Each child receives a $150 gift card to shop for holiday gifts and has the opportunity to take a photo with Santa.
Participants are selected through the local school system, giving children who are less fortunate a memorable and positive experience with police officers.
The Shop with a Cop Board thanks all the volunteers and donors who make this event possible to help brighten a child’s Christmas.
