Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
The City of Bullhead City works with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to identify and manage areas at risk for flooding. These areas are mapped using engineering studies that FEMA reviews and approves.
These maps show floodplain boundaries and are used to determine flood risk for properties throughout Bullhead City.
Common Flood Zones in Bullhead City
FEMA has designated several regulatory flood zones that apply to properties in Bullhead City:

Zone X: Areas with moderate to low flood risk.
