Purpose of the General Plan

The General Plan outlines a clear vision for Bullhead City’s future. It serves as a guide for City leaders, residents, and partners involved in planning and development.

The plan includes several key elements that work together to support thoughtful, sustainable growth. These elements help improve the quality of life for residents and strengthen our local economy.

The goals, objectives, and policies in the plan provide the foundation for making decisions. The City will use this guidance as time, resources, and circumstances allow.

Each part of the General Plan is connected and should be used together when planning for the future.

This plan meets the requirements of Arizona Revised Statutes §9-461.05 for General Plans.

What Is the General Plan and Who Uses It?

The General Plan outlines the City of Bullhead City's long-term vision for future development and growth. It guides how land is used and how the City plans for housing, infrastructure, parks, open space, environmental resources, and public services.
