If your pet goes missing or you find a lost animal, act quickly to help them get home.

1. Make a lost or found report on Petco Love Lost. Petco Love Lost is a national database that helps reunite lost pets with their families. When you register your pet as lost or found, it can be seen by shelters, rescues, and neighbors, increasing the chances of a safe return.
2. Check your local animal shelters and rescue organizations. Many lost pets are taken there, and staff can often help identify them.
3. Look for any online lost and found pet Facebook groups in your area. These groups connect pet owners and the community to spread the word fast.

If your pet is at our facility, please bring proof of ownership, such as vet records, license paperwork, or any other documentation.

To prevent future losses, make sure your pet always wears a collar with a tag. Microchip your pet and keep the registration information up to date. These simple steps make it much easier to return your pet if they get lost.
