To make a monetary donation, we accept cash, card, or check at 2270 Trane Rd. If you’d like to go a step further, you can sponsor an animal’s adoption fee. Sponsoring an adoption helps the animal find a home that much faster! To sponsor, call us at 928-763-6000, email bhcbarc@bullheadcityaz.gov, or stop by our facility to discuss.

Volunteering means stepping in to make a real difference every single day. Your help gives animals the care, love, and support they need to feel safe and thrive. Every task—big or small—directly improves their well-being.
Ways to Lend a Paw:
- Animal Care: Clean cages, feeding, walking, give baths, provide transport, or assist with TNVR to help community cats.
- Support Tasks: Keep the shelter running smoothly by doing laundry, washing dishes, and sorting donations.
- Enrichment – Make treats and create activities that keep animals happy, healthy, and engaged.
- Community – Capture photos and videos, welcome visitors, and help at adoption events to connect animals with their forever families.
When you volunteer, you become part of every adoption story, every wagging tail, and every purr of comfort.
