Housing Repair

Safe Homes. Strong Community.

Fair Housing

Every April, the City of Bullhead City joins the nation in recognizing the anniversary of the Fair Housing Act. Fair housing ensures that all people have the right to live free from discrimination.

We are committed to a community that is open, welcoming, and inclusive—where everyone has access to: Safe and healthy neighborhoods, Quality schools, Economic opportunities, Housing choices that support independence and dignity

Housing discrimination is prohibited based on:

  • Race

  • Color

  • Religion

  • National origin

  • Sex

  • Familial status

  • Disability

These protections apply to all housing, including single-family homes, apartments, condominiums, manufactured homes, and shared community spaces. Housing providers—such as landlords, sellers, lenders, and insurance agents—cannot deny housing or services based on membership in a protected class.

Housing Rehabilitation Program

The City of Bullhead City’s Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program helps very low- and moderate-income families make essential home repairs. Homes must be within city limits and outside a floodplain to qualify.

Our goal is to keep homes safe, affordable, and well-maintained—protecting health, preserving property values, and extending the life of housing in Bullhead City.

2 Persons $49,400
