Mobility Management
The WACOG Coordinated Council brings together public transit providers, non-profit human service organizations, and community members who work with the local Mobility Management program.
This council uses a regional approach to manage transportation resources in a coordinated network, creating more mobility options and better access to services—especially for the populations served by the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) Section 5310 Program.

La Paz and Mohave Counties | Cover 18,100 square miles of rural western Arizona. Many very rural areas— including all six tribal reservations—have little or no transportation services. |

About the FTA Section 5310 Program
The Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities program is designed to meet the unique transportation needs of these groups. Conventional cars and traditional public transportation often do not meet these needs, as many riders require specialized assistance to reach essential services.
The goal of the WACOG Coordinated Council is to strengthen cooperation between regional transit providers and local communities, resulting in more options for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and all residents.

Our Focus
Through coordinated efforts, Mobility Management and the Coordinated Council work to:
- Improve transportation for seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Increase the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of travel services for all residents
- Promote transit-oriented development and sustainable, livable communities
- Share information about available resources within the region
- Identify and address gaps in service
