Trash Service

The City of Bullhead City contracts with Republic Services for the collection, transportation, and disposal of solid waste for residents and businesses within city limits.

Extra Trash Carts

Residents can purchase an extra cart for $3.00 per month. To order, call the Republic Services local office at 928-758-9135.

Setting Out Trash Carts

Place blue and/or green carts at the curb by 4:00 a.m. on your scheduled service day.

Trash Day Schedule

Monday Service Area

• Silver Creek Road north, including west side of Highway 95 between Silver Creek and Ramar Road

• Areas surrounding the airport, Laughlin Ranch, McCormick Road, and subdivisions north of Highway 68

Tuesday Service Area

• West of Highway 95 between Hancock Road and Riverview Drive to the Colorado River

• Chaparral Terrace subdivision

Wednesday Service Area

• Riviera area from Hancock Road north to the Colorado River

• Area south of Ramar Road to Mohave Drive

Thursday Service Area

• Chaparral Golf Course, Fox Creek, Arroyo Vista, and Clearwater Hills

Note: Do not place rocks, dirt, concrete, sand, sod, construction/demolition materials, hazardous materials, or motor oil in trash carts.

Bulky Item Pickups

Residents are allowed six (6) bulky item pickups per year under the current agreement with Republic Services.

Electronic Recycling Events

The City of Bullhead City holds electronic recycling events at least twice a year.

Clothing Recycling

Donate unwanted clothing to local charities, thrift stores, Goodwill, or the Salvation Army to help those in need and reduce landfill waste.

Household Hazardous Waste Events

Mohave County holds two hazardous waste collection events each year.
