We support elected and appointed officials in managing Bullhead City’s limited water and energy resources. Our goal is to help residents conserve and protect these vital resources for the future.
The Water Resources Division manages the City’s contracts with:
The Bureau of Reclamation
Utilities, Inc.
Mohave County Water Authority (MCWA)
The Division also oversees the City’s Water Conservation Plan and enforces the City codes connected to that plan.
The Mohave County Water Authority (MCWA) was established in 1995 by several local entities with municipal and industrial water contracts through the U.S. Department of the Interior. While Mohave County itself does not hold a Colorado River contract, it became a member during the legislative process to strengthen regional advocacy.
