Well Reports

Reporting Water Use

The City of Bullhead City has an annual allocation of 15,210 acre-feet of Colorado River water through a contract with the Bureau of Reclamation. To meet federal requirements, the City must report all water diversions within its service area each month.

If you own or operate:

  • A well with a pump capacity greater than 20 gallons per minute, or

  • A public water system (as defined by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality),

you are required to:

  • Install a meter on the system, and

  • Report monthly water usage to the City by the 5th of each month.

These reports help protect Bullhead City’s water supply, ensuring it remains safe and reliable for the entire community.
