Emergency Preparedness

Emergencies can happen at any time, with little or no warning.

While Bullhead City is not often impacted by major disasters, our community can still face flooding, power outages, earthquakes, and other emergencies. Preparing ahead of time helps protect you, your family, and your neighbors.

Make a Communication Plan

Decide how your family will stay in touch and where you will meet if separated.
Remember, disasters don't plan ahead... but YOU can!

Build a Kit

Be ready to be self-sufficient for several days.
Create a supply kit that includes:

  • Food and water
  • Medications and pet supplies
  • Clothing and personal items
  • Flashlight and extra batteries

Stay Informed
