Annual Expenditure Limitation Report

Each year, the Economic Estimates Commission establishes the expenditure limit for all Arizona cities and towns.

This limit is based on the actual local expenditures from fiscal year 1979–1980, adjusted over time for:

·         Voter-approved base adjustments

·         Population changes

·         Inflation

·         Annexations

These adjustments ensure that municipal spending remains within the constitutional limits set by the State of Arizona.
