Fireworks are only allowed during specific times of the year.
According to City ordinance, you may use permissible consumer fireworks only during the following dates:
- June 24 – July 6
- December 24 – January 3
Fireworks are not allowed in the Colorado River Nature Center.
What Fireworks Are Permitted?
Permissible fireworks (as defined by APA 87-1) include:
- Ground and handheld sparkling devices
- Cylindrical and cone fountains
- Illuminating torches
- Wheels and ground spinners
- Flitter sparklers
- Toy smoke devices
- Wire sparklers or dipped sticks
Aerial fireworks, such as bottle rockets, sky rockets, and any fireworks that explode, are illegal in Arizona.
